Head of Sales (National Market) - Steel Component Manufacture, Cikarang

Job Summary:

The Head of Sales  is responsible for managing and developing sales and marketing activities within the domestic & export market . This role focuses on expanding customer relationships, overseeing pricing strategies, ensuring sales targets are achieved, and maintaining a strong brand presence without a commission or incentive-based structure. The position is performance-driven and aligned with fixed compensation policies.
Our product are Hard product (the construction segment) pipes (for automotive & houses), galvanize product (for building, automotive, appliance industry and domestic use)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Domestic & Export Sales Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and implement sales strategies focused on the domestic market.
  • Set annual and monthly sales targets and monitor performance.
  • Identify new business opportunities within key industries (automotive, construction, heavy equipment, etc.).
  1. Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for major accounts and respond to inquiries or complaints professionally.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to understand market demand and ensure satisfaction.

3. Marketing & Branding

  • Coordinate marketing efforts such as trade shows, advertisements, product promotions, and digital presence.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering to align offerings with market needs.
  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all channels.

4.Sales Administration & Reporting

  • Oversee the preparation of quotations, proposals, and contracts.
  • Monitor order processing, delivery schedules, and after-sales support.
  • Provide regular reports on market trends, competitor analysis, and sales performance.

5.Pricing & Cost Management

  • Develop and manage pricing strategies in coordination with the finance and production teams.
  • Ensure profitability targets are maintained without relying on commission-based incentives.

6. Team Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with internal departments (production, planning, logistics) to ensure alignment with client expectations.
  • Lead internal meetings and contribute to strategic planning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 - 15 years of experience in B2B industrial/domestic sales, preferably in steel or metal components manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of the domestic industrial market and distribution channels.
  • Proven experience in strategic account management and contract negotiations.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Willing to travel domestically as needed.
  • Comfortable working in a non-commissioned, fixed-salary structure.
