Position Overview
The Site Supervisor MEP will oversee and coordinate all on-site MEP construction activities to
ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, codes, and quality standards. This role requires hands-on leadership, technical expertise in MEP systems, and strong coordination skills to manage subcontractors, monitor progress, and resolve site issues.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site Supervision & Coordination
- Supervise daily MEP construction activities on site.
- Coordinate with civil teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP works into overall project timelines.
- Ensure all work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.
2. Quality & Compliance
- Inspect MEP installations to ensure quality and compliance with standards and local building codes.
- Monitor testing & commissioning processes for MEP systems.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records, reports, and checklists.
3. Safety Management
- Enforce safety rules and ensure all personnel follow health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Identify and mitigate potential site hazards.
4. Progress Monitoring
- Track daily and weekly work progress against schedules.
- Report delays, challenges, and solutions to the Project Manager.
- Assist in preparing progress reports and documentation for client meetings.
5. Problem Solving & Technical Support
- Provide technical guidance to site teams.
- Resolve on-site technical or coordination issues promptly.
- Review shop drawings and material submittals for compliance before execution.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years experience in MEP site supervision within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, standards, and installation practices.
- Familiarity with local codes and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in MS Office and basic construction management software.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
