Position Overview

The Site Supervisor MEP will oversee and coordinate all on-site MEP construction activities to

ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, codes, and quality standards. This role requires hands-on leadership, technical expertise in MEP systems, and strong coordination skills to manage subcontractors, monitor progress, and resolve site issues.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision & Coordination

  • Supervise daily MEP construction activities on site.
  • Coordinate with civil teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP works into overall project timelines. 
  • Ensure all work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.

2. Quality & Compliance

  • Inspect MEP installations to ensure quality and compliance with standards and local building codes. 
  • Monitor testing & commissioning processes for MEP systems.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records, reports, and checklists.

3. Safety Management

  • Enforce safety rules and ensure all personnel follow health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
  • Identify and mitigate potential site hazards.

4. Progress Monitoring

  • Track daily and weekly work progress against schedules.
  • Report delays, challenges, and solutions to the Project Manager.
  • Assist in preparing progress reports and documentation for client meetings.

5. Problem Solving & Technical Support

  • Provide technical guidance to site teams.
  • Resolve on-site technical or coordination issues promptly.
  • Review shop drawings and material submittals for compliance before execution.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years experience in MEP site supervision within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, standards, and installation practices.
  • Familiarity with local codes and regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficient in MS Office and basic construction management software.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
