Accounting MIS Manager
About the job Accounting MIS Manager
Key Responsibility :
- Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly Financial & Technical MIS reports to support management decision-making.
- Lead the annual budgeting and monthly business planning process, including monitoring actual performance against budget/plan.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports and presentations.
- Analyze Cost of Production (Costing) and identify key cost drivers and improvement opportunities.
- Conduct monthly variance analysis covering raw materials, production, sales realization, quality/gradation, and waste against the business plan.
- Monitor and analyze raw material and production Input-Output reconciliation, inventory valuation, and stock movements.
- Analyze S&S consumption and Repair & Maintenance (R&M) variances and provide recommendations to management.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of MIS data through effective coordination with Finance, Accounting, Production, Sales, and other related departments.
- Support ERP/MIS system implementation and migration projects, including system enhancement and process improvement.
- Support management in special projects, regulatory requirements, Anti-Dumping investigations, and other business analysis as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing, Finance/Accounting, MIS, Costing, or Business Planning.
- Strong knowledge of Management Information Systems (MIS), Financial & Management Accounting, Costing, Budgeting, and Variance Analysis.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production costing, raw material consumption, and inventory valuation.
- Experience in preparing management reports, business planning, budgeting, and presentations for senior management.
- Good knowledge of taxation, Transfer Pricing documentation, and internal control/J-SOX is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical, problem-solving, and planning skills, with high attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook; experience with Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or other ERP/MIS systems is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and diverse teams.
- Adaptable, fast learner, proactive, hardworking, and committed to achieving high-quality results under pressure.
