About the job Manager Procurement /Logistic Contract
Duties and Responsibilities:
a. Demonstrate strong negotiation skills in contract discussions (price, terms, and quality) to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
b. Establish and maintain long-term partnerships with suppliers/vendors.
c. Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle, including Purchase Orders (PO) and vendor evaluation.
d. Ensure the availability of materials from vendors.
e. Ensure delivered materials meet quality standards and minimize complaints.
f. Handle complete licensing and documentation to ensure smooth import processes as expected.
g. Execute purchasing activities with complete specifications and technical drawings.
h. Ensure timely payments in accordance with contractual terms.
i. Manage all necessary permits and documentation to support smooth import activities.
j. Procure goods with high quality at competitive prices.
k. Collaborate effectively in procurement activities to achieve established targets.
l. Communicate and update the expected arrival schedule of purchased goods.
m. Ensure all purchased goods are properly recorded and processed in the SAP system to avoid issues during receiving.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/Metallurgy), Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, preferably in metal manufacturing or heavy industry
- Strong knowledge of raw materials (steel, aluminum, alloys) and metal manufacturing processes
- Proven experience in supplier sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation
- Familiar with international sourcing and import regulations

- Strong negotiation and cost analysis skills
- Ability to manage supplier relationships and contracts
- Good understanding of inventory planning and supply chain management
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
