Our client, is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Collection to join their team in Hanoi, Vietnam. With an expanding presence in the digital wallet and pawnshop business, the company is on a mission to drive financial inclusion through innovative financial services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead national collection operations in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.

POSITION: Head of Collection
Location: Hoang Cau, Dong Da, Ha Noi
Experience Required: Minimum 7 years in collection, including 3+ years in a leadership role
Salary: Negotiable
Start Date: As soon as possible

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead day-to-day collection operations, including pre-due, early, field, and legal collection activities.

  • Develop and implement collection strategies based on different collection phases.

  • Monitor collection KPIs to ensure monthly performance targets are achieved.

  • Personally oversee late-stage collections involving legal action, field recovery, and repossession.

  • Coordinate closely with branch teams to ensure timely and compliant collections.

  • Support field and legal collection initiatives in collaboration with branches.

  • Manage third-party agencies for late-stage collection and recovery.

  • Train both branch and in-house collection teams on best practices and legal compliance.

  • Design and update collection policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.

  • Generate and present collection performance dashboards and reports to local and regional teams.

  • Handle additional tasks as assigned by the Country Managing Director.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field.

  • Minimum 7 years experience in collection, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.

  • Strong planning, strategic thinking, and analytical mindset.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • High integrity, self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.

  • Able to manage pressure and maintain performance under stressful situations.

  • Solid understanding of debt collection regulations and practices.

  • Knowledge of various collection methodologies and tools.

  • Fluent in Vietnamese; proficiency in English is a significant advantage.

  • Based in Hanoi.
