Job Description

Strategic IT Planning and Advisory:

  • Develop mid- and long-term strategic IT roadmaps and provide advisory support at the country level, ensuring alignment with business and digital strategies while complying with local regulatory frameworks.
  • Ensure the IT organization has the necessary structure and skill sets to comply with local regulations.

IT Infrastructure and Operations:

  • Lead and collaborate with in-country IT teams to design and deliver infrastructure solutions that support the current and future business application needs.
  • Manage computer systems and business application operations to ensure compliance with local regulations and meet established KPIs for service levels.
  • Ensure high service levels for daily IT operations at both corporate and local levels, addressing stability, communication, mobility, and security requirements.

Business Solutions:

  • Establish standardized processes to integrate infrastructure, systems, and business workflows, aligning them with business strategy to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage service providers and key vendors to ensure timely delivery of solutions and services according to project scope, resources, and timelines.

IT Budget and Planning:

  • Oversee regional IT budget planning and prioritization, assessing ROI and benefit realization, and submit plans to Group HQ for review and approval.

Requirement

  • Bachelor degree, preferably in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related disciplines;
  • Minimally 5-7 years of leadership capacity in leading and implementing technology
    projects; recent stints in leading digital projects would be a strong plus;
  • Strong customer-orientation, commercial awareness and prior stints in customer-centric organisations would be highly advantageous;
  • Consistent track record in project management and implementation;
  • An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills; an authentic leader with good time management, inclusive behaviours and a strong belief in people development.
