Lead Software Engineer II

Our client created a platform that delivers content governance, compliance, and protection to customers, and we are looking for a seasoned Lead Software Engineer to bring a huge impact to our R&D team. The platform unifies, tracks, controls, and secures sensitive content moving within, into, and out of their organization, significantly improving risk management and ensuring regulatory compliance on all sensitive content communication.

What You Will Do:

  Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions
  Providing direction and guidance to the development team, making crucial technical decisions, and setting the overall technical vision for the product
  Reviewing code, ensuring it meets coding standards, identifying areas for improvement, and maintaining code quality
  Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers
  Evaluating new technologies, tools, and frameworks that could benefit the project, and making informed recommendations
  Collaborating with project managers on timelines, resource planning, and technical feasibility.

What You Bring With You:
  7+ years of experience in software development
  3+ years in a leadership role
  At least 4 years of launching web and desktop applications with Node.Js
  Ability to solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
Bonus Points if You Have:
  Hand-on experience with VueJs and/or React
  Some knowledge of C#/.Net
  Interest in both Windows and Linux
  Understands UI, cross-browser compatibility, and general web functions and standards.
