TELECOM ENGINEER

Required Experience/ Qualifications



  • Strong technical expertise within the Core network, platforms (HLR, HSS, SMSC, MSC/VLR, MME, PGW, GGSN, SGW)
  • Strong technical expertise in SS7/Diameter protocols and Signaling routing
  • Knowledge in standard GSMA roaming agreements (IREG/TADIG)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent communication skills

Even better if you have

  • BS degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Working experience with LINUX systems (UBUNTU, CentOS, certificates are plus)
  • Working experience with Databases (mariaDB, mysql, Oracle, etc.)
  • Working experience with SPLUNK or another data analytics platform Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills
  • Client requirement analysis & pitching them to the solutions accordingly
  • Customer project experience with at least 3 years as an engineer in Telecom industry integration projects
  • Basic knowledge in security research
  • Knowledge and understanding of malware techniques and methods
  • Knowledge and understanding of various attack and penetration testing tools

Responsibilities

  • Identify solutions and interpret results by applying established research methods, by learning and adapting new methods, and by using analytical tools and mathematical and statistical models
  • Build and operate a core network virtual lab, add tools and capabilities for the lab.
  • Contribution to architecture and engineering around STP/DRA routing implementation
  • Central point on signaling routing aspects in our technical environment Lead the technical implementation of the new design and new components including migration of existing businesses
  • Work collaboratively with company colleagues, across teams and with partners.
  • Analyze results and data and draw conclusions from them.
  • Present findings at group and departmental meetings, to design and development teams or collaborative partners.
  • Read articles and papers about specific areas of interest in order to keep up to date with technical, scientific and theoretical advancements in your field.
  • Work closely with OPSEC to perform risk management on new capabilities
