IT SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

Position Summary

     Daily execution of IT department activities, ensuring that duties and responsibilities are completed in an accurate and effective manner, always in compliance with company processes and procedures. The position will be reporting to the Group IT Manager and will be based in Bulgaria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Having responsibility for company virtual host server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, optimization, and periodic patching of host OS and server hardware.
  • Having responsibility for corporate WAN, LAN, and Wi-Fi infrastructure, including deployment, initial configuration, and optimization of company LAN and Wi-Fi equipment.
  • Having responsibility for company virtual servers and network backup infrastructure, including maintenance of server backup infrastructure, constant monitoring, and periodic testing of backups.
  • Having responsibility for company IP PBX telephony systems.
  • Maintaining IT infrastructure documentation.
  • Participating in Global IT and security-related projects.
  • Having responsibility for the maintenance and update of company hardware and software inventory.
  • Providing 2nd and 3rd-level IT support to company employees.
  • Diagnosing and resolving ongoing issues.
  • Evaluating new technologies for the improvement of system service and network performance.
  • Following relevant IT and security processes, policies, guidelines, standards, and blueprints.
  • Providing regular reports, such as change requests, incident reports, etc.
  • Undertaking any other related tasks assigned by management.

Experience and Skills Required

  • More than 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, both verbal and written.
  • Practical experience with installation, administration, or troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows
  • Server 2016/2019 and its most common roles (AD, DNS, DHCP, File Server).
  • Virtualization technology based on VMware.
  • Office365/Azure cloud and Intune MDM.
  • Knowledge of VLANs, Subnetting, Routing, and Switching, good understanding of the OSI.
  • PowerShell scripting is considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of ZenDesk, LiveChat, and Voiso cloud PBX is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Linux-based OS is an advantage.
  • Analytical problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Team player.
