Networks and Communications Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance, troubleshooting, and monitoring of:
  • branches LAN, WAN, and VPN networks in the bank
  • routing protocols and infrastructure
  • Data centers LAN and SAN infrastructure
  • CISCO VolP systems
  • virtual environment (SAN/VMware) 
  • network devices - routers, switches, firewalls
  • network security (Layer 2,3)
• Provides expert security guidance in the form of vulnerability analysis, implementation of the best practices, and audit recommendations
• Improve and automate daily tasks
• Provide support on various projects (IT and business-related)
• Maintain relationships with different vendors.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new solutions
• Actively participate in the development and implementation of approved changes and new services.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Very good TCP/IP, networking, routing, and routing protocol knowledge
• Very good CISCO IOS knowledge
• Good knowledge and experience in WAN/VPN communications
• Very good communication skills and teamwork ability
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Responding to critical support issues outside of work hours if needed
• Knowledge of WAF/DBF management will be an advantage
• Knowledge of SAN management will be an advantage
• Experience in Load-balancing technologies will be an advantage
