Security Analyst with Sentinel

Your Role:

• You will build up and improve real-time security monitoring and incident response framework and playbooks.
• Investigate, document and report on information security issues and emerging trends.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the internal team and the external SOC team.
• Work closely with the external SOC team to handle and respond to security incidents .
• Participate in post-incident analysis to improve processes and response strategies.
• Work with the external SOC team to analyze logs and detect potential security threats.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of the external SOC team.
• Ensure seamless integration of internal security tools and systems with those used by the external SOC team.
• Assist in configuring and maintaining security tools to ensure they are functioning correctly and providing accurate data.
• Identify areas for improvement and work with the external SOC team to implement enhancements in processes and technologies.

Qualifications & Competences:

• 3-5 years of relevant work in a hands-on position as SOC Specialist/Engineer
• Hands-on experience with SIEM systems \ Incident Management & Automation systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel is an advantage
• Experience in alerting, escalations and day-to-day IT security operations
• Strong understanding of Incident Response and Methodologies
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Security mindset with business enablement strategy thinking
• Must be able to learn fast and adapt quickly to ever changing requirements and priorities.
• Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst, Identity and Access Administrator or similar security certifications is an advantage.
