Batch Operation Engineer 

Main Responsibilities:

• The role will be involved in support of a highly critical production environment.
• Demonstrate ownership and responsibility in all assignments.
• Enough expertise to identify and recommend changes/improvements to the process and infrastructure design.
• Consult with the internal team and end users to determine system requirements and specifications.
• Act as a member of a quick-response team. Will often work under demanding deadlines, operating independently to resolve complex problems.
• Resolve incidents and problems effectively and promptly.
• Responsible for implementation of medium to complex components of a project module, and change requests.
• Responsible for providing trend analysis to the management team to enable them to make informed decisions.
• Work in a cross-cultural team and communicate effectively.

Required Experience:

• Provide exception notification and reporting on an ongoing basis.
• Batch Job Status \Status Checks
• Batch Job Duration \ reporting
• Alerts, Job Runs, Number of Transactions.
• Experience in Error handling in Jobs.
• Monitor the jobs for all ABENDS (batch failures) and escalate to appropriate personnel.
• Escalate to the higher tier team within the company and/or the clients in case of any alerts/failures
• Job Restore / Restart as per the Standard Operating Procedures
• Reschedule jobs in case of Job Failure as per the Standard Operating Procedure
• Batch Job Transaction Reports
• Document all the job ABENDS and action taken
• Scheduling the jobs in the Job Scheduler as per the schedule in collaboration with app teams
• Experience in UC4 scheduler to initiate and manage jobs automatically by processing prepared job control scripts and statements.
