Cloud Architect

Leads the development and design of scalable, resilient and efficient IT infra and cloud architecture.

Responsible for the Cloud and IT Infrastructure architecture roadmap, actual development, delivery and transformation. Contributor for the overall Technology Strategy preparation.

Responsible for development of the related IT infrastructure and Cloud - business and technical requirements, in line with the Technology Strategy and Service Architecture.

Ensures proper planning, development and implementation of Technology Strategy and Service architecture, according to the business needs of the Company and audit compliance.

Key responsible on the corporate level for the role of competent buyer related to all Cloud/IT infrastructure needs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, software developers, and operations teams to ensure that the planned infrastructure designs are implemented as per plan.

Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders on all levels of the hierarchy.

Provide guidance and mentorship to the engineering staff to develop and grow cloud competencies.

Develop and maintain documentation for architecture, cloud infrastructure, and procedures.

Cloud Technology Evaluation. Follow the latest developments in cloud technologies and assess their applicability to enhance the cmpany's services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES

• Lead the change and constant development of the Cloud/Enterprise Architecture process

• Develops and maintains architecture blueprints, and documentation, for best practices in cloud development and deployment.

• Develops and maintains Cloud and IT infra strategy that meets business requirements and is aligned with industry best practices and manages the adoption process.

• Identify the cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company.
• Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software
• Assess the techno-economic impact as TCO and business case of the proposed solutions.
• Evaluate new cloud technologies and services to ensure that our cloud infrastructure remains up-to-date and optimized.

Design and implement scalable and resilient cloud architectures that meet the business requirements and relevant services.

Lead the integration of existing on-premises systems with cloud-based solutions. Plan and execute migration strategies for applications and services to the cloud.

Collaborate cross-functionally, and align cloud strategy and implementation with companys security and privacy framework.

• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements. Support the activities related to IT Compliance and audit processes

• Responsible for transforming Group ambition strategy into local programs and initiatives

• Coordinate planning and implementation of long-term strategic initiatives in the Cloud/Infra domain order to ensure integration of current and future technologies, best practices and standards

• Cooperate with other Company units and other partners for professional performance of common projects and related activities

• Carry out all other tasks, assigned by the line manager and in accordance with the employees qualification and responsibilities.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

Education: BSc in Engineering/Information Technology

Experience:

• 3 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure migration/development

Competencies:

• Applied competence
  • DevOps, FinOps, GitOps, NoOps, CI/CD, etc
  • K8s, Containers, Services Mesh, etc.
  • Scripting (Python, bash), Git, IaC, etc.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect
