Database Administrator

We are looking for a Database System Administrator for a product company in the entertainment sector.

Your Role:

• Collaborate with Global Operations and Engineering teams.
• Implement and scale infrastructure, including computing, storage, and networking.
• Design and deploy databases based on company needs and user demand.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database systems for optimal functionality and availability.
• Develop scripts to enhance database performance and resolve issues.
• Track and report service outages, and coordinate incident resolution.
• Manage repair tickets, service orders, and escalations.

About You:

• Experience with MySQL databases
• Strong automation and scripting skills (Ansible, Chef, Bash, Python, Perl).

Bonus Points For:

• Professional certifications (e.g., LPIC).
• Experience with cloud providers (GCP, AWS) and Kubernetes.
• Linux administration expertise.
