Our client is the largest multi-brand provider of managed services, combining years of expertise and innovation to transform the way organizations operate. On their behalf, we are looking for an experienced, full-time Deployment Engineer to join their Post Sales IT Department. He/she will iterate quickly and deliver solutions in a fast-paced environment with an attention to details, with a focus on customer service and exceeding customer expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Using remote access software to assist our customers during the deployment and rollout of Multi-function Devices (MFD) and print solutions
- Responding to and resolving deployment problems through efficient diagnosis & fault resolution
- Timely communication with all parts of deployment team, keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes and / or possible outages
- Ensuring customer satisfaction throughout
- Timely escalation of deployment requests that cannot be resolved to a Senior Consultant when required
Candidate Requirements:
- Advanced network/server and active directory knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of Print management solutions including Equitrac, Safecom, Papercut and Workflow solutions would be beneficial
- Ability to explain and interpret technical problems
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
- Good time management & excellent organisation skills
- Ability to work under pressure to specific SLAs, to prioritise and multitask
- Methodical with an aptitude for attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Excellent telephone manner, must be professional at all times
- Adaptable and flexible to changing demands
Key Performance Indicators - KPIs:
- Delivering installations within specified deployment times
- Prompt and open communication with all departments involved during deployment
- Machine install rate per day
