The Product team are just one of several groups within this organisation and are based nationally. This role and team are located at Head Office in Auckland.

About you

You will have a strong background in project management and sound understanding of the process for the development of learning programmes. You will thrive when interacting with a variety of stakeholders and you will take pride in your ability to time manage, project manage and stay on top of multiple projects. You will enjoy working with your team members and offer value in the assigned project teams.

In this role you will take:

  • Ownership and accountability of a product portfolio.
  • Development of relationships with relevant industry stakeholders to ensure our training programmes and operational support models are fit-for-purpose and align with current and future workforce development requirements. »
  • Liaise with Workforce Development Council staff involved in qualification and standards development to ensure training packages guide effective programme design aligned with industry expectations.

What you will achieve

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement training programmes and continuously improve service models »
  • Engagement with relevant Workforce Development Councils (WDCs) to ensure programmes align with qualification and skills standards requirements
  • Participate in qualification and standards reviews as facilitated by the WDC.
  • Leverage stakeholder connections through WDCs as needed to develop programmes
  • Facilitate engagement with WDC stakeholders (particularly those engaged with Technical Advisory Groups) to support the development of learning and assessment resources Programme design and management »
  • Programme design, development, implementation, maintenance and review submissions for programmes
  • Work closely with the Programme Innovation and Learning Solutions teams to determine how the learners will be supported and reflect the support in the programme design.
  • Manage all live products to understand trends in engagement and use and feed this to the WDCs as needed.
