Job Summary
Talent Foresight on behalf of her client in the Education sector, is sourcing to recruit a highly passionate and experienced Early Learning Childhood Teacher to join her dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the Montessori philosophy and methodology, and committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children.
Responsibilities:
Curriculum Implementation
- Develop and implement age-appropriate Montessori lesson plans aligned with learning goals.
- Prepare and maintain a well-organized classroom environment that fosters learning and exploration.
- Guide children in practical life, sensorial, language, mathematics, and cultural activities.
- Encourage independent learning and problem-solving skills.
Child Development
- Observe and assess children's individual needs and learning styles.
- Create individualized learning plans to support each child's progress.
- Foster positive social interactions and emotional development.
- Promote creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning.
Parent Communication
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents, sharing observations and insights.
- Organize parent-teacher conferences to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with parents to create a supportive home-school partnership.
Classroom Management
- Establish and maintain a safe and disciplined classroom environment.
- Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Manage classroom routines and transitions smoothly.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of children's progress.
Must have skills
- curriculum- early stage foundation with Montessori
- well conversant with Jolly phonics.
- excellent with music sessions
- creative in arts and crafts
- good with storytelling
- Team player
- jolly and punctual
- possibly can play an instrument--not a must
- Christian background.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Proven experience in teaching young children, preferably in a Montessori setting.
- Strong understanding of child development theories and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to the Montessori philosophy.
