About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned and adaptable Group HR Manager to lead our human resources function across a dynamic group of companies. You will be a strategic partner, shaping our HR policies, practices, and initiatives to support the growth and success of our diverse workforce while navigating the complexities of a multi-company and contract-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership:
- o Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with the overall business goals and objectives of each company within the group.
- o Partner with leadership teams to identify and address HR needs, ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
- o Conduct HR audits and recommend process improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.
- o Design and execute efficient recruitment strategies attracting top talent across diverse industries and skill sets.
- o Manage the full talent lifecycle, from onboarding and training to performance management and career development.
- o Build and maintain positive relationships with employees and foster a culture of engagement and collaboration.
- o Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits packages tailored to each company's needs.
- o Manage payroll and ensure timely and accurate processing.
- o Stay informed of current trends and best practices in compensation and benefits.
- o Address employee grievances and concerns promptly and effectively.
- o Ensure compliance with labor laws, immigration regulations, and other relevant HR policies.
- o Manage contracts and agreements for contract employees and outsourced HR services.
- o Effectively communicate HR policies and procedures to employees and managers across companies.
- o Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- o Stay informed of emerging trends and best practices in HR and share knowledge with the team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a senior HR management role within a multi-company or geographically dispersed organization.
- Proven experience working in a contract-based environment, managing external HR vendors and freelance professionals.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Strong recruitment, talent management, and employee relations skills.
- Expertise in compensation and benefits administration.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in HR software and systems.
- A relevant HR certification (PHR, SHRM-SCP, etc.) is strongly preferred.
