We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to take charge of our construction fleet. As the Fleet Supervisor, you will be responsible for the overall health and performance of our vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and ready to support our projects. You will wear many hats, from managing maintenance and repairs to overseeing logistics and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Vehicle and Equipment Management:
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all construction vehicles and equipment, including preventive maintenance schedules, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Manage fuel consumption and optimize fuel efficiency.
- Track and manage vehicle and equipment utilization to ensure project needs are met.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure vehicles comply with all safety regulations.
Logistics and Administration:
- Schedule vehicle and equipment assignments to support project requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of all vehicle and equipment data, including maintenance history, fuel usage, and compliance documents.
- Process and track fuel cards and vehicle permits.
- Manage and oversee the fleet budget.
Leadership and Collaboration:
- Supervise and motivate fleet technicians and operators.
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in fleet operations.
- Foster a culture of safety and compliance within the fleet team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a construction fleet management role.
- Proven understanding of construction equipment and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and fleet management software (preferred).
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
