About the Opportunity:
Leading 5-star hotel in the heart of Kuwait City, is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Executive Chef to join our dynamic team. As the "Chef de Cuisine" (head chef), you will be responsible for the overall leadership and success of our culinary operations. You will play a pivotal role in crafting innovative menus, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service across all our restaurants and kitchens, and inspiring a passionate team of culinary professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all aspects of the culinary operation, including menu development, food preparation, service, and staff management.
- Develop and implement innovative and seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to the diverse palates of our international clientele.
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste across all our restaurants and catering services.
- Manage a team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff, providing coaching, mentorship, and ongoing training opportunities.
- Implement and enforce strict hygiene and safety standards within the kitchen environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with food and beverage suppliers to secure high-quality ingredients at competitive prices.
- Manage food costs and inventory control, ensuring optimal efficiency and profitability.
- Conduct regular menu reviews and analysis of customer feedback to continuously improve dining experiences.
- Oversee kitchen equipment and ensure proper maintenance and repair procedures are followed.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest culinary trends and innovations, incorporating them into our menus and service offerings.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Front Office and Marketing, to create a seamless and exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience as an Executive Chef or a senior culinary leadership role within a reputable 5-star hotel or restaurant group.
- Proven track record of success in creating innovative and high-quality menus that meet guest expectations and generate revenue.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of chefs and kitchen staff.
- In-depth knowledge of international cuisine, food preparation techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse personnel and departments.
- Strong financial acumen and the ability to manage budgets effectively.
- Proficiency in relevant kitchen management software (preferred).
- Fluency in Arabic is an advantage (highly desirable).
