Corporate Gifts Procurement Manager

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Job Description:

Our client, a diversified group of companies in Dubai, is seeking an experienced and creative Corporate Gifts Procurement Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of corporate gifts and promotional items across the group, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality, brand alignment, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for corporate gifts and promotional items that align with the companys brand image and marketing objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors, ensuring the best value for money.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing and ordering to delivery and inventory management.
  • Ensure that all corporate gifts are of high quality, delivered on time, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as marketing, sales, and HR, to understand their needs and provide customized solutions.
  • Monitor market trends and innovations in the corporate gifts industry to introduce new and unique items that enhance brand visibility.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including supplier performance and cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with the companys procurement policies and procedures.
  • Lead a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement in UAE, with at least 2 years in a role focused on corporate gifts or promotional items.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for unique and impactful corporate gifts.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar role within a large organization or group of companies.
  • Knowledge of the latest trends in corporate gifting and promotional products.
  • Familiarity with the Dubai and UAE market for corporate gifts and promotional items.
