About Us

We are currently seeking for an Auto Mechanic Instructor Assistant at one of the oldest vocational training institute, based in Dubai. The institute was established 25 years ago, and it was the pioneer in vocational training.

Our client belongs to a group that was established 75 years ago and has a strong commercial, charity and community development, focused in construction, Oil and Gas, Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare, Education and related industries. Responsibilities

    • You will be the spark that ignites learning: Assist seasoned instructors in delivering comprehensive automotive repair and maintenance courses for students of all skill levels.
    • A guiding wrench: Provide individualized support and guidance to students, helping them master repair techniques and diagnose automotive issues.
    • Master of tools and systems: Demonstrate proper usage of automotive tools and equipment, from simple wrenches to complex diagnostic scanners.
    • Safety first: Ensure workshop safety by upholding protocols and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
    • Beyond the manuals: Assist with developing and updating course materials, keeping pace with industry advancements and technologies.
    • Communicate clearly: Maintain effective communication with instructors, students, and workshop participants.

Requirements

  • A formal qualification from a recognized authority related to Auto Mechanic / Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience as an Auto Mechanic / Mechanical Engineering.
  • A qualification in training/instruction or teaching would be a distinct advantage. 
  • An associate's degree or relevant qualification in automotive technology, mechanics, or a related field.
  • Strong technical skills in various automotive repair and maintenance techniques, including engine diagnosis, electrical systems, brakes, and suspension.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students and colleagues.
  • A passion for teaching and learning, with a desire to share your knowledge and inspire others.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workshop environment.
  • Team player attitude with a willingness to support instructors and other team members.
  • Experience teaching or assisting in automotive training programs or courses.
  • Certifications in specific automotive repair areas (e.g., ASE certifications).
  • Familiarity with advanced automotive technologies and diagnostic tools.
  • Experience in retail or customer service (a plus for interacting with workshop participants).
