Role Overview

Our confidential client is seeking a PMO Director to lead portfolio governance and strengthen end-to-end execution across strategic programs. The role partners closely with executives to ensure prioritization, transparency, and measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Own portfolio governance: intake, prioritization, approvals, and stage gates.

- Define and roll out PMO standards, playbooks, and reporting cadence.

- Build executive dashboards, OKRs/KPIs, and benefits tracking.

- Lead program planning, dependency management, and resource allocation.

- Establish risk/issue management and escalation paths.

- Develop PM capability (coaching, training, performance standards).

- Facilitate steering committees and drive decision-making readiness.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree (Business/Engineering or similar).

- 15+ years in PMO, programs and projects, or portfolio leadership; strong multi-stakeholder exposure.

- Demonstrated success delivering complex initiatives across functions.

- Strong financial and benefits mindset (cost, value, ROI).

Preferred / Nice-to-have

- PMP/Prince2; Agile/Scrum exposure.

- Experience in large-scale transformation or digital programs.

- Arabic language capability.
