Cleared Unarmed Security Officer

Talent Acquisition Strategies, LLC is seeking a dedicated and professional Cleared Unarmed Security Officer to join a client program in Aurora, CO. This critical role supports data center security operations, ensuring the protection of client applications and data against sophisticated threats. The successful candidate will report directly to the Site Manager and contribute to maintaining a secure and compliant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain knowledge of post orders, policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
• Enforce badging policies, control physical locks and keys, and inspect individuals and equipment to prevent unauthorized access.
• Provide security protection for Client and client personnel and property within the designated area.
• Monitor security cameras and electronic surveillance systems, respond to alarms, and address security and safety concerns per established post orders.
• Guide, follow, and direct individuals throughout the site.
• Perform inspections and testing of access control mechanisms, including alarms, locks, doors, and monitoring systems.
• Prevent theft of physical or intellectual property.
• Communicate and promote awareness of data center security policies to employees, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Provide mail delivery and package receipt services as required.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, appearance, and conduct in compliance Client policies.
• Complete training and sustainment requirements, including online courses.
• Assist with collateral duties such as armory and security equipment maintenance.
• Prepare and deliver reports as directed by the Site Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
• At least 1 year of security or law enforcement experience (local, state, or federal), OR 2+ years of honorable military service (active or reserve) in any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation during all seasons.
• Colorado Security Guard Certification (or ability to obtain) including fingerprints, background investigation, and application process.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to use modern technology systems, troubleshoot user-level issues, and learn new platforms.
• Professional verbal, written, and email communication skills in English.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
