Job Description:
We are seeking
a talented Desktop Support Specialist to join our Irvine, CA based client.
This is a full-time, direct hire position.
JOB SUMMARY:
- As part of the 24/7 data center, provide support in all aspects of operating, monitoring and managing our IT systems and equipment
- Review incoming requests / tickets specific to hardware, software and network issues and resolve via phone, email, chat or Instant message and provide a timely resolution
- Provide status updates to end-users
- Escalate issues when required to ensure customer satisfaction
- Support other team members as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school degree or equivalent
- 3+ years of desktop support experience supporting end-users with hardware, software and network issues
- Understanding of networking technologies and common software applications
- Strong technical aptitude
- Knowledge of Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems
