Role Overview:

The Strategy and Business Development Specialist role is pivotal in driving the company's growth within the satellite and telecommunications industries. Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement growth strategies in the satellite business through planning, analysis, and building alliances with industry partners.
  • Prepare proposals and presentations that highlight the company's services and value proposition to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, agreements, and partnerships with clients and vendors, ensuring alignment with company objectives and mitigating risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, engineering, and legal departments, as well as senior executives, to develop and execute effective business development strategies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Drive revenue growth by acquiring new customers, expanding partnerships, and developing new business lines.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies, staying up to date on changes within the satellite and telecommunications industry, and adapting strategies as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of successful experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the satellite, telecommunications, or ICT industries.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, marketing, or engineering (with a preference for telecommunications or aerospace fields). A Master's degree and/or specialized engineering in telecommunications or aerospace is preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and a collaborative attitude when working with cross-functional teams, with a solid understanding of satellite technology, telecommunications, and related markets.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and business development activities.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with experience in relevant satellite-specific software or applications being a plus.
