Role Overview:
We are seeking a Data Analytics Manager - Data Tracking to lead and manage our data tracking efforts across web and mobile applications.
This role is critical in ensuring accurate data collection and integration for marketing and analytics platforms, including Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and BigQuery.
You will manage a team of developers and analysts, oversee project timelines and sprints, and ensure the successful execution of data tracking strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Tracking Implementation:
- Involve and oversee data tracking strategies across web and app platforms.
- Implement and maintain tracking using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), BigQuery, and Firebase.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define tracking requirements, ensuring all events, parameters, and conversions are captured accurately.
Integration & Platforms:
- Manage integrations with various analytics and Martech tools (e.g., AppsFlyer, Firebase).
- Ensure seamless tracking between web, mobile apps, and social media platforms.
Technical Implementation:
- Provide hands-on support for tracking setup using basic JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Optimize the use of custom tags, triggers, and variables within GTM.
- Understand and design data structures for web and mobile apps to facilitate accurate data collection and reporting.
Team Management & Collaboration:
- Coordinate a team of developers and analysts, assigning tasks and managing workloads.
- Organize and oversee sprint planning, project timelines, and deliverables using Agile methodologies.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members.
Quality Assurance & Optimization:
- Conduct audits and troubleshooting of data collection processes to ensure accuracy.
- Identify opportunities to optimize tracking setups and improve data quality.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts and Marketing Teams to ensure data meets reporting and business needs.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
- 2-5 years in data tracking, analytics implementation, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing teams, project timelines, and sprint cycles.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
Tools Expertise:
- Strong experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), BigQuery, and Firebase.
- Familiarity with AppsFlyer (a plus).
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in basic JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for web tracking implementation.
- Understanding of web and mobile app data structures and tracking methodologies.
Communication Skills:
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with social media tracking and data integration.
- Knowledge of advanced GA4 360 features.
- Certifications in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), or related analytics platforms.
