Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead complex commercial and industrial projects across Central and Southwest Ohio. This senior-level role combines technical expertise with team leadership, overseeing electrical system design, integration, and field coordination across large-scale facilities.

This position is ideal for a seasoned electrical engineering professional with deep knowledge of power systems and proven experience managing engineering teams in sophisticated project environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of electrical systems for commercial and industrial facilities

• Manage, mentor, and supervise a team of approximately 12 engineers and technical staff

• Direct high-voltage and medium-voltage system design and integration

• Oversee power distribution, lighting, transformers, PLCs, telecommunications, and data infrastructure systems

• Collaborate with design, construction, and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution

• Utilize industry-standard software and platforms for modeling, coordination, and project tracking

• Ensure full compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and client specifications

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and schedule expectations

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience

• Journeyman License (required)

• Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams and managing direct reports

• Hands-on expertise in:

  • High-voltage systems

  • Medium-voltage systems

  • Power distribution systems

  • Lighting systems

  • Transformers

  • PLCs

  • Telecom and data infrastructure

• Strong background in electrical system integration within complex facilities

• Thorough understanding of applicable electrical codes and industry standards

• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and oversee multiple projects
