As an API Specialist, you will be the vital link between external developers and our platform. You will manage developer engagements, guide our customers developers with best practices and connectivity, troubleshoot issues, and help maintain our developer community and documentation. Your role is critical in driving platform adoption, enhancing developer/customer satisfaction, and solidifying our leadership in the API/WMS domain.

This is a full-time role, on a US shift and on a Hybrid set-up.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage external developer engagements and provide solutions to technical integration and connectivity issues.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the platform and deliver training on best practices.
  • Advocate for developer needs to support product roadmap decisions.
  • Contribute to the developer community and maintain accurate, comprehensive API documentation.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot API usage issues, resolving escalations as needed.
  • Stay current with new tools and technologies to support continuous improvement.
  • Meet performance expectations within established KPIs, including response and resolution times.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in API connections/support or customer-facing technical roles.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience engaging with both technical (developers) and non-technical customers.Minimum of 2 years of experience with HTML and SQL.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with JSON syntax.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with REST APIs and authentication methods.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience using API troubleshooting tools (e.g., Postman, Fiddler).

    Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of e-commerce shopping cart platforms and their APIs (e.g., Amazon, Shopify).
  • Understanding of warehousing, logistics, and e-commerce delivery.
  • Experience in project management participation and execution.
  • Strong customer and developer empathy.
  • Prior B2B customer-facing experience.
  • Demonstrated initiative in supporting cross-functional teams (support, sales, communication).
  • Commitment to driving change and supporting organizational excellence.
