Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Commercial Lines Account Manager to support our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in commercial lines insurance, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Applied EPIC or a similar agency management system.
The primary focus of this role is to assist with processing, data gathering, and administrative tasks, allowing the Account Manager and leadership to better serve clients. Communication will be limited to emails with insureds and insurance carriers - no direct phone interactions are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals efficiently.
- Issue certificates of insurance (COIs) as requested.
- Assist with setting up new clients and maintaining accurate policy records.
- Gather applications and necessary documentation from insurance carriers.
- Send reminder and follow-up emails regarding in-progress work.
- Support daily administrative and operational tasks for the Account Manager.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in Commercial Lines Insurance is required.
- Familiarity with Applied EPIC or similar agency management systems is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to navigate multiple insurance company portals to rate and process policies.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and online management tools.
- Excellent written communication skills for professional email correspondence.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
