About the job Data Quality Analyst
The Data Quality Analyst supports the Online Research Department by analyzing and verifying market research data to ensure accurate, high-quality project deliveries. This role primarily uses SPSS to read, write, and modify SPSS syntax, verifying that data files (.sav) conform to client specifications. The Data Quality Analyst must also communicate any issues or discrepancies promptly and clearly to Project Managers or other relevant staff.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities (What is done and why in order of importance)
- Use SPSS syntax to review and verify .sav files, ensuring the layout, logic, and data align with the specifications provided by the clients documentation.
- Perform basic data processing tasks (e.g., appending, transforming, merging) in SPSS to ensure clean data for overall analysis.
- Document and communicate any issues or discrepancies in a clear, concise mannervia email, Slack, or other established channelsto Project Managers, Department Managers, or VPs.
- Participate in weekly Teams audio calls and provide updates on workload, progress, and any barriers to timely completion.
- Respond to assignments from QA Lead, Department Manager, or VP, providing feedback to ensure prompt resolution of tasks and adherence to project timelines.
- Collaborate with team leads and department managers to establish realistic client deadlines and immediately escalate any issues that threaten agreed-upon delivery dates.
- Fulfill any other tasks and projects as assigned by executive management.

Education, Experience & Skills
Education:
Minimum requirement is a Bachelors Degree or related job experience.
