Our US Partner specializes in custom product design and branding. They offer services for creating personalized items, such as branded merchandise and promotional products, utilizing techniques like screen printing, embroidery, and digital printing. Their focus is on helping businesses enhance their brand identity through custom-designed products.

As a Procurement Specialist, you'll spearhead the entire procurement lifecycle, from pinpointing suppliers to skillfully negotiating contracts. Your mission is to secure top-tier goods and services for the organization while maximizing value. You'll engage in close collaboration with departments across the organization, meticulously assessing their procurement requests, and crafting streamlined strategies to fulfill them with precision and efficiency

This is a full-time role, on a US shift and on a WFH set-up.

Responsibilities:

Vendor Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers.
  • Address any issues or disputes with suppliers promptly.

Purchase Order Review:

  • Thoroughly review purchase orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify order details, specifications, and pricing for precision

Vendor Communication and Order Placement:

  • Communicate effectively with vendors to facilitate smooth procurement transactions.
  • Place purchase orders with approved suppliers, negotiating terms when necessary.

Order Tracking and Status Management:

  • Maintain meticulous organizational practices to monitor the progress of purchases using Monday.com
  • Proactively manage and communicate order status to Brand Managers and Clients.

Supplier Identification and Evaluation:

  • Identify potential suppliers and conduct thorough evaluations to assess their reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain a database of approved suppliers and update it regularly

Negotiation:

  • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements.
  • Ensure contracts are in compliance with legal and organizational standards.

Cost Management:

  • Monitor and control procurement costs to ensure budget compliance.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • College degree or 3 years equivalent experience
  • Experience in project management, order processing and general administrative tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional prioritization skills to efficiently manage tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills, adept at communicating with external vendors
  • Fundamental grasp of mathematics for accurate price calculations
  • Ability to multi-task and oversee multiple orders to ensure timely completion and delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to remain composed under pressure, particularly during rush order or high-volume periods
