Our US Partner is a dynamic real estate development and investment firm that has been transforming Jersey City's neighborhoods since 2010. They've successfully developed 25 multi-family and commercial structures, including The Brunswick Center, a 50,000-square-foot education and wellness hub. Their diverse portfolio includes real estate development, early childhood education centers, property management, and strategic investments.

The Accounting Officer is responsible for the day-to-day execution of general accounting
activities, including the management of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. This
role ensures the accuracy of financial records, the timeliness of financial transactions, and
compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. The Accounting Officer
will work closely with the Managing Partner, Director of Operations, and Financial Controller to
support financial reporting, internal controls, and process improvements.

Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Perform general accounting duties including journal entries and ledger maintenance.
Lead and review monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
and completeness of financial records.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, working closely with the Financial
Controller.
Support financial reporting and audit requirements.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory
requirements.
Collaborate with other departments to support overall financial operations.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field.
CPA or currently pursuing CPA licensure is preferred.
5+ years of accounting experience particularly in AP, AR, General accounting and
reconciliations
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software, QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
