We are seeking experienced and meticulous Seamstresses with a strong background in luxury bridal and evening wear garment construction. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for constructing, altering, and finishing gowns to meet the brands exceptionally high standards. You will work with delicate and luxurious fabrics, applying both technical knowledge and fine artistry to every gown you touch.

This role requires excellent hand and machine sewing skills, a deep understanding of couture construction, and a passion for creating garments that mark life's most meaningful moments.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Construct bridal and evening wear garments from start to finish using designer-approved patterns and specifications
  • Perform precise alterations and fittings to ensure a perfect silhouette and flawless fit
  • Handle and sew a wide range of luxury fabrics, including lace, silk, satin, chiffon, organza, crepe, and tulle
  • Apply couture techniques such as hand-finishing, invisible zippers, corset construction, French seams, rolled hems, and lace/appliqué placement
  • Collaborate closely with pattern makers, cutters, and designers to ensure the vision is executed to exact standards
  • Participate in technical fittings and support adjustments for production and custom orders
  • Conduct quality control checks at every stage of construction to uphold the brands luxury standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation of alterations, timelines, and garment specs

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of professional seamstress experience, preferably in bridal, couture, or high-end evening wear
  • Mastery of both machine and hand sewing techniques

  • Strong knowledge of garment construction and pattern interpretation

  • Experience working with delicate, embellished, and luxury fabrics

  • Keen attention to detail, craftsmanship, and garment finishing

  • Ability to work efficiently under deadlines without compromising quality

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot construction or fit issues
  • Passion for bridal fashion, fine tailoring, and timeless design

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Formal education or certification in Fashion Design, Garment Construction, or Couture Sewing
  • Experience with lace placement, beading, corsetry, and built-in structural support
  • Familiarity with the Kelly Faetanini design aesthetic or experience with a similar luxury brand
