Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented Product Designer with a strong passion for user-centred design and a keen understanding of the Generative AI landscape. The ideal candidate will excel in all phases of the design process, from user research to prototyping, and will be committed to creating intuitive and engaging products that meet our customers' needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative data to inform your design decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct user research to gather insights on user needs, behaviours, and pain points.

- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.

- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative design solutions.

- Create and maintain design systems and component libraries to ensure consistency across all products.

- Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback and data.

- Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies relevant to the Generative AI space.

- Advocate for user-centric design principles and best practices within the organisation.

- Present design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

- Identify new product improvement opportunities and analyse how new features satisfy market needs.

- Document design processes, decisions, and guidelines to ensure transparency and consistency.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in product design, preferably in the SaaS or AI industry.

- Strong portfolio showcasing your design expertise and projects, particularly in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.

- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively persuade around design concepts.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and adapt to changing requirements.
