We are currently searching for a Receiving Manager to OVERSEES DAILY OPERATION OF INVENTORY MOVEMENT WITHIN THE RECEIVING DEPT. INCLUDING DAILY RECEIPTS, TRANSFERS, SPECIAL PROJECTS AND TEAM SUPERVISION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and building a team of Receiving Team Members
  • Setting structure for the needs of the company in the Receiving Department.
  • Maneuvering and handling equipment in a safe manner.
  • Utilizing ERP software for Receipts for POs, SOs, RMAs and Special Projects.
  • Working with Team to put away product into warehouse locations and customer owned.
  • Optimizing use of current resources to ensure proper receipt and inventory counts, locations, etc.
  • Performing Cycle Counts on Inventory in all 3 Buildings.
  • Transferring Product to place Inventory in correct areas. Customer Stock or Company Stock.
  • Building to Building Transfers making sure that the requests are met for the physical and systematic move of the requested product.
  • Organizing the Receiving docks, put away into correct location, and Inventory in locations.
  • Investigating into Inventory Discrepancies and making the correct changes in the System.
  • Implementing companys best practices.
  • Overseeing company's Receiving processes.
  • Implementing or changing current processes as needed to be more accurate and efficient.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates ability to manage employees within different roles
  • Ability to think on your feet in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
  • Strong ERP (Netsuite) and Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Excellent management and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus previous experience preferred.
  • Fluent English is required for this role, bilingual is a plus. Working written and spoken local language skills are desirable for this role.

Must be willing to work in their Elgin, IL office 100% of the time.
