Our client is a "Rapidly" expanding Boise, ID based law firm, with focus on family law, child custody, bankruptcy, and DUI. 

What We Need

We are seeking Associate Attorneys (both new and seasoned) to join our team. We're looking for someone that has family law, estates, and wills and trusts. Primarily family law is a must. 

We are looking for a self-starting attorney to join our team and hit the ground running. This position will only be required to practice law. 

The billable requirement at the firm allows for a great work/life balance (we generally don't work past 5 or on the weekends). Our law firm is looking for an attorney who is ready to represent our existing client base. 

The ideal candidate will work closely with the firms clients, administrative staff, and senior partners. Responsibilities

  • Handle the Client's case from beginning to end with the aid of other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants.
  • Get the appropriate legal documents ready for clients, such as briefs, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondence.
  • Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions.
  • Manage administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerks.
  • Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of action.
  • Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings.
  • Identify client conflicts and determine case strategies with options for resolution.


Requirements

  • First Chair Trial Experience
  • Able to practice law in Idaho.
  • 2-3 years experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed.
  • Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required.
  • Graduation from law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and experience in representing clients for at least 2 years.
  • Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must.
