Finance Manager
Job Description:
Summary
The Finance Manager will report to the VP of Accounting. The successful candidate will support the management team supporting the following areas:
- Finance
- Business planning and budgeting
- Administration
The Finance Manager will play a critical role in partnering with the senior leadership team in the strategic decision-making process as it continues to build and grow the company. For special projects, short and long term, the Finance Manager will work with and take direction from the company President.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements.
- Coordinate and lead the annual audit process.
- Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process.
- Administer and review all financial plans and budgets.
- Monitor progress and changes to financial results.
- Effectively communicate and present critical financial matters to the senior management.
- Handles special projects as requested.
- Monthly financial reporting to the senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.
- 2+ years experience in a financial management role.
- Knowledge of Sage software is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- 2+ years of financial modeling and forecasting skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Willingness to be a team player and assist or perform other duties as needed or requested.
Working Conditions
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time and work at a computer.
- May require occasional travel for meetings and business obligations.
- Regular business hours
