Quarkus Backend Developer

What You'll do:

- Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Java and Quarkus;

- Build scalable and resilient backend systems following microservices architecture principles;

- Work with both relational and non-relational databases;

- Integrate and manage event-driven architectures using Kafka;

- Collaborate with DevOps teams on containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes);

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments (AWS);

- Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of backend services;

- Participate in code reviews and promote best practices in backend development;

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development and production environments;

- Hybrid Work Model.

Who You Are:

- 4–6+ years of professional experience (depending on seniority level);

- Strong experience in microservices development using Java and Quarkus;

- Experience with relational and non-relational databases;

- Experience with Kafka;

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes;

- Knowledge of DevOps practices;

- Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS; 

- Strong communication skills in Portuguese and English (written and spoken);

- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (preferred);

- Experience with reactive programming (e.g., Mutiny, Hibernate Reactive) (preferred);

- Experience with Angular (preferred);

- Experience with AI development and integration (preferred);

- Java certifications (preferred);

- Cloud-related certifications (preferred);

- Kubernetes certifications (preferred);

- Fluent in portuguese.
