What You'll do:

- Lead the design, integration, and evolution of our Digital Experience Platform (DXP), bringing together frontend applications, reusable feature modules, CMS capabilities, backend APIs, SSR solutions, and CDN caching into a scalable production ecosystem.

- Define and govern architecture standards, integration patterns, package publishing processes, semantic versioning practices, and module lifecycle management across multiple teams.

- Drive the implementation of modern frontend platform capabilities, ensuring high performance, maintainability, security, and reliability.

- Establish best practices for API orchestration, Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) patterns, server-side rendering, caching strategies, and production deployment workflows.

- Partner closely with Feature Teams, API engineers, CMS stakeholders, and governance groups to ensure seamless integration and delivery across the platform.

- Lead technical decision-making for complex architectural challenges, including SSR compatibility, module integration conflicts, dependency management, and caching strategies for personalized experiences.

- Oversee CI/CD processes and release management practices to support efficient and reliable software delivery.

- Mentor and guide engineers, fostering technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and adherence to architectural standards.

- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to improve platform capabilities and developer experience.

- Hybrid work model (2x/week Lisbon)

Who You Are:

- 8+ years of experience in Full Stack, Frontend, or Platform Development.

- Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, or similar technologies.

- Solid understanding of frontend architecture concepts including component-based development, state management, routing, data fetching, SSR, and performance optimization.

- Experience integrating APIs, CMS platforms, reusable modules, and backend services into scalable enterprise applications.

- Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR), Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) patterns, caching strategies, and CDN technologies.

- Experience with enterprise CMS or Digital Experience Platforms such as Optimizely, Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, or similar solutions.

- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and collaborate across multiple teams in complex delivery environments.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to define standards and resolve architectural challenges.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Passion for mentoring developers and promoting engineering best practices.

- Adaptable, proactive, and motivated to build reliable and scalable digital platforms.

- Professional English communication skills (B2 level or higher).
