What You'll do:

- Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Java and Kotlin;

- Apply and promote best practices in Android architectures (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture);

- Maintain and modernize existing applications, including migration from legacy frameworks to Kotlin;

- Manage the full app lifecycle, including build, testing, and publishing to the Google Play Store;

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git and Gradle;

- Ensure code quality through unit testing, troubleshooting, and adherence to mobile security best practices;

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment;

- Support and mentor junior developers, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices;

- Integrate mobile applications with backend services using REST and/or SOAP APIs;

- Monitor application performance and stability using crash reporting and monitoring tools;

- Contribute to advanced mobile features such as NFC communication, camera capture, image processing, and OCR;

- Hybrid Work Model.

Who You Are:

- Minimum of 6 years of experience in native Android development (Java and Kotlin);

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field;

- Strong knowledge of Android architectures and design patterns (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture);

- Experience with Git, Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines;

- Experience with unit testing, debugging, and mobile security best practices;

- Experience in maintaining, modernizing, and publishing apps on the Google Play Store;

- Strong communication skills and ability to work in Agile teams;

- Experience mentoring or coaching junior team members (preferred);

- Experience using AI tools to support the software development lifecycle (preferred);

- Experience integrating with SOAP and/or REST services (preferred);

- Experience with crash reporting and monitoring solutions (preferred);

- Experience with NFC communication on Android devices (preferred);

- Experience with camera capture, image processing, and OCR (e.g., QR codes, Data Matrix, or other 2D codes) (preferred);

- Fluent in Portuguese.
