What You'll do:

- Support an initial Proof of Concept (POC), demonstrating the capabilities of the Kong API Gateway solution;

- Contribute to the first steps of API governance and lifecycle definition;

- Implement rapid, API-first solutions to showcase features and architecture approaches;

- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements, demonstrate functionality, and ensure alignment with API governance best practices;

- Remote Work Model.

What You Are:

- 5+ years of experience as an API Management Specialist;

- Strong hands-on experience with Kong API Gateway (preferably Enterprise edition);

- Knowledge of API lifecycle management, API governance principles, and best practices;

- Experience with Kong components: Kong Manager, Dev Portal, plugins, security policies, authentication, and routing;

- Experience in API-first architectures and rapid solution delivery for demonstrations or POCs;

- Excellent English communication skills (mandatory);

- Strong stakeholder interaction and communication capabilities;

- Proactive, autonomous, and comfortable working in a POC environment;

- Previous experience in European public sector projects (valued);

- Experience with DevOps pipelines applied to API Gateways (valued);

- Kong certifications or equivalent (valued).
