What You'll do:
- Design, implement, and maintain observability solutions for complex systems and applications;
- Consolidate and improve existing observability mechanisms including monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting;
- Integrate observability into the software development lifecycle in close collaboration with development, operations, and security teams;
- Lead and facilitate a Community of Practice focused on application operability and observability;
- Work with DevOps and Platform Support teams to automate the deployment of monitoring solutions;
- Define, document, and enforce observability standards and best practices using Confluence and Git;
- Evaluate, select, and recommend appropriate observability technologies, tools, and frameworks;
- Continuously monitor and analyze performance data, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvements;
- Stay current on observability trends and provide thought leadership within the organization;
- Provide training and mentorship on observability concepts, tools, and methodologies to other team members;
- Hybrid Work Model.
What You Are:
- Proven experience as an Observability Architect or similar role, with deep knowledge of observability principles and methodologies;
- Hands-on expertise with tools such as Coralogix, Prometheus, Grafana, Fluent-Bit, ELK stack, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, LogicMonitor, and Nagios;
- Strong programming/scripting skills in languages like Python and Bash;
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architectures, and cloud computing environments;
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including Git, Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, and Kubernetes;
- Awareness of observability-related security best practices, including data privacy, authentication, and authorization;
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
