What You'll do:

- Administer and manage Microsoft 365 security configurations across services like Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.

- Implement and monitor identity and access management solutions, including Microsoft Entra ID and multi-factor authentication.

- Configure and manage Microsoft Defender for Office 365 and related threat protection tools to defend against malware, phishing, and other threats.

- Deploy and maintain information protection strategies using tools such as Microsoft Purview, including DLP, encryption, and rights management policies.

- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards by utilizing features like eDiscovery, audit logs, and retention policies.

- Manage and secure endpoints via Microsoft Intune and related tools, ensuring safe device access and policy enforcement.

- Contribute to security operations, including incident response, vulnerability management, and monitoring via SIEM tools.

- Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement cloud security best practices, understanding the shared responsibility model.

- Troubleshoot and configure network security settings, ensuring smooth integration of Microsoft 365 with existing infrastructure.

- Stay current with evolving security threats, technologies, and industry standards, continuously improving the organization's security posture.

What You Are:

- A security-focused IT professional with strong experience in Microsoft 365 security administration.

- Skilled in identity and access management, including Entra ID (Azure AD) and multi-factor authentication.

- Proficient with Microsoft Defender for Office 365, DLP, encryption, and other threat and information protection tools.

- Knowledgeable in compliance management, including tools for auditing, data retention, and regulatory reporting.

- Experienced in managing endpoint security using Microsoft Intune.

- Well-versed in cloud and network security principles, and able to apply them in a Microsoft 365 environment.

- Comfortable working with security operations, including incident response and SIEM analysis.

- Continuously learning and ideally certified (or pursuing certification) as a Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate or similar.
