What You'll do:
- Manage and administer cloud-based systems and platforms, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Maintain and optimize applications running on Kubernetes and cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).
- Lead the migration of legacy applications to Kubernetes/OpenShift and/or public cloud services.
- Support application development and operational support teams by troubleshooting and optimizing services.
- Implement and manage cloud security best practices to ensure system integrity and resilience.
- Monitor infrastructure performance using tools like Nagios, Prometheus, and Dynatrace.
- Automate operational tasks and infrastructure deployment using Ansible, Terraform, and Helm.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for incident prevention and response.
- Collaborate with networking teams to optimize service load balancing and connectivity.
- Conduct post-mortem analysis and troubleshooting to improve system reliability and minimize downtime.

What You Are:
- Experienced in managing, operating, and supporting cloud infrastructures in GCP, AWS, and Azure.
- Skilled in implementing and migrating services in cloud environments, particularly IaaS and Kubernetes.
- Proficient in scripting and automation (Shell, Python, Perl, Go) for operational efficiency.
- Knowledgeable in IT security principles, system hardening, and application security best practices.
- Familiar with monitoring and observability tools for proactive system health management.
- Adept at working with CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments
- Experienced with containerized environments, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledgeable in ITIL best practices for process management.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working in fast-paced, high-availability environments.
