What You'll do:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines in a cloud-based environment;
- Configure and manage data ingestion processes into Azure Data Lake;
- Monitor and execute requests for new data connections and repository access;
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems;
- Optimize and maintain ETL processes for performance and reliability;
- Work with tools such as Databricks, Azure, and OpenShift for data ingestion and processing;
- Develop data manipulation and transformation scripts using Python, Scala, and SQL;
- Implement pipelines and algorithms using Apache Spark or equivalent frameworks;
- Identify risks and propose improvements and fixes for data workflows;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business and technical data needs;
- Hybrid Work Model.
What You Are:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer, ideally in Big Data and Cloud environments;
- Proficiency with Databricks, Azure, Spark, SQL, Scala, and Python;
- Experience in building and maintaining ETL pipelines and handling large data volumes;
- Good command of Swagger and familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies;
- Understanding of data security, governance, and performance optimization principles;
- Experience with data ingestion frameworks and data governance practices;
- Knowledge of emerging technologies in the Big Data ecosystem;
- Previous work experience in regulated industries (banking, insurance, telecommunications).
