Finance Business Partner

About the Role
An experienced Finance Business Partner to oversee the financial operations of Japan entity while driving business growth and optimization. This position plays a crucial role in supporting our expanding e-commerce business in Japan, working at the intersection of finance, operations, and strategic planning.

What you'll do

• Managing complete financial operations of the Japanese entity
• Driving business profitability through strategic financial analysis and optimization
• Ensuring compliance with both UK and Japanese reporting requirements
• Leading financial process improvements and controls implementation
• Providing strategic business partnership to both local and global teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (CPA or ACCA)
• 5 years of experience in finance 
• Fluent in English and Japanese (written and spoken)
• Strong understanding of both Japanese GAAP and UK GAAP/IFRS
• Advanced Excel skills

Preferred

• Prior experience in international financial reporting
• Experience working with cross-cultural teams
