We are looking for an experienced Front of House Attendant – Night Shift to join a professional hotel team in the Czech Republic.This is a multi-skilled position combining Night Reception / Front Office duties with Food & Beverage support. The successful candidate must have previous experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel and be confident working independently during night operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth operation of the hotel reception during the night shift.
- Handle guest check-in and check-out, registration, room assignments, payments and guest accounts.
- Operate the hotel Property Management System (PMS) and process reservations and guest information.
- Process payments, credit card pre-authorizations, hotel charges and cash transactions accurately.
- Handle walk-in reservations, room upselling, guest enquiries, telephone calls and emails.
- Respond professionally to guest requests and routine complaints.
- Provide Food & Beverage service during the evening restaurant operation, including taking orders and serving food and beverages.
- Complete night-shift reports, account checks, payment reconciliation and handover information for the morning team.
- Work closely with Reservations, F&B and other hotel departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
- Follow hotel standards, HACCP, hygiene, health & safety and fire safety procedures.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel – MANDATORY.
- Previous experience in Front Office, Reception, Night Reception or Guest Services within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent command of English – spoken and written.
- Good experience with hotel PMS systems, reservations and guest accounts.
- Comfortable handling payments, cash, credit cards and basic reconciliation.
- Strong guest service and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision.
- Professional, reliable, proactive and highly responsible.
- Strong attention to detail and good administrative skills.
- Flexible and comfortable supporting Food & Beverage operations when required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions
- 40 hours per week
- Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Rotational short-week / long-week schedule
