We are looking for an experienced Cook to join a professional hotel kitchen team in the Czech Republic. The ideal candidate must have previous experience working in a 4-star or 5-star hotel kitchen and be comfortable handling both breakfast operations and à la carte food preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage the daily breakfast buffet and breakfast service.
• Prepare fresh vegetables, fruits, pastries, cold buffet items and hot breakfast dishes.
• Prepare ingredients and mise en place for afternoon and evening service.
• Prepare, finish and serve à la carte dishes according to hotel quality standards.
• Maintain excellent food presentation, quality and consistency.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure proper food storage.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation.
• Follow HACCP, food safety, health & safety and hotel standards.
• Work closely with the restaurant and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel – MANDATORY.
• Good knowledge of breakfast preparation, buffet operations and à la carte cooking.
• Excellent command of English.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene, sanitation and HACCP standards.
• Able to work independently and efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
• Hard-working, reliable, flexible and proactive.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Working Conditions

• 40 hours per week
• Rotational shifts
• Short-week / long-week rotation
• 2 days off during the long week and 5 days off during the short week
