Deputy Manager Human Resources (Assistant to HR Director) Czech Republic

Location: Czech Republic

Salary: CZK 70,000 / 2,880 EUR gross per month

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Deputy HR Manager (Assistant to HR Director) to support the development and management of the HR function across a group of hotels in the Czech Republic.

This role is based at the Head Office and requires a Czech-speaking candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the leadership and development of the HR function across the hotel group
  • Manage and mentor HR team members, including HR specialists and recruitment staff
  • Support the implementation of the Group HR strategy in line with business objectives
  • Oversee recruitment processes across all hotels and corporate departments
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle (onboarding, performance, development, succession, and offboarding)
  • Ensure compliance with Czech labour law and employment regulations, including foreign employee administration
  • Supervise HR documentation, contracts, and employment records
  • Monitor HR KPIs, workforce planning, headcount, turnover, and labour costs
  • Cooperate closely with Hotel Directors and senior management on HR matters
  • Support annual workforce planning, salary budgeting, and organisational development
  • Develop and improve HR policies, procedures, and best practices across the group
  • Support employee engagement, leadership development, and performance initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for HR process improvement, automation, and digitalisation
  • Oversee HR systems and platforms (e.g. KOMMO, PAMICA, FINGERA, EIRA, Teamio)
  • Prepare HR reports, analyses, and management presentations
  • Support change management and organisational development projects
  • Represent the company in HR-related matters with external institutions and partners

Requirements

  • Previous experience in HR management or senior HR support role
  • Strong knowledge of Czech labour law
  • Experience with recruitment and HR operations
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Ability to work across multiple departments and locations
  • Fluent Czech language required; English is an advantage
